Labrador West

 Labrador West includes Labrador City, Wabush and Churchill Falls.

Training is available in-person at Dexter Institute, 1301 Luce Street, Labrador City. Residents of Churchill Falls may opt to do the training online via Zoom with an instructor.

Students who complete this course in its entirety are eligible for insurance discounts through most insurance providers. Please contact your provider for more information.

When students complete the classroom portion of the course, they will be contacted within 10 days to arrange their first in-car lesson. Parents should note the instructors communicate directly with students to book times. It is the student’s responsibility to inform parents of lesson times, cancellations or failure to show up for a lesson.

For the convenience of parents and students, we offer pick up and drop off service at schools, home or at a work location.

The vehicle in which you are trained in is available to you for the road test.

Private lessons are also available.

We require 48 hours’ notice of any cancelations or transfers. An administrative fee of $25 will be applied if notice is given in less than 48 hours. Some exemptions may apply.
